SimMeetSimMeet

How does it work?

Three kinds of users, three steps each.

Learner

1

Open the scenario

Tap the SimMeet activity in Moodle or join with the class code from your educator. Coming from Moodle, you don't log in again.

2

Manage the patient

Take a history, examine, order tests, treat. The monitor and patient respond in real time; questions may appear along the way.

3

Read the debrief

At the end, see what you did well and what you missed, your timing and the related curriculum items. Your score goes to the Moodle gradebook.

Educator

1

Write

Define the patient, stages, transitions and questions in the editor. Write in your own language; templates and AI suggestions speed you up, and you always have the final say.

2

Run

Open the scenario to your class right away. Sharing is optional; private scenarios belong only to you and your co-authors.

3

Share

If you wish, submit it for review. Once two reviewers, one from another institution, approve it, it enters the shared library and earns contribution points as it is used.

Institution

1

Connect

Add SimMeet to Moodle as an LTI 1.3 tool. Other learning management systems use the same standard.

2

Map

Scenarios come tagged with UÇEP 2020 items and can be imported into a Moodle competency framework.

3

Monitor

See from reports which learners practised which topics and where they struggled.
