Data we process
- Identity and contact: name, e-mail, institution
- Account: sign-in method (e-mail, Google, Moodle/LTI, SimClever Academy), session logs
- Learning data: scenarios played, decisions, timings, scores
- Author data: scenarios you write, reviews, contribution points
- Technical data: IP address, browser information, security logs
Scenarios must not contain identifying or health data of real patients.
Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service and performing the contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c), legal obligations (art. 5/2-ç), security and service improvement under legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f). Marketing e-mails are sent only with your explicit consent.
Transfers
Data may be transferred to service providers for hosting (Hetzner, Germany), domain and security (Cloudflare) and e-mail delivery (Brevo), and, for learners coming from Moodle, to their institution. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and e-mail from Google. Cross-border transfers comply with KVKK art. 9.
Retention
For the life of the account and for statutory periods after closure; details will be set out in the retention policy.
